The Wounded Gull is a modern take on the twin fin’s of the 70’s and a bit of a tribute to Mr Wounded Gull himself Mark Richards. This board has smooth glide and flow of a traditional keel fin fish, but with the more high performance abilities of the MR style twin. The result is a fun board to ride in waves from knee high to overhead that has lots of speed and drive while is still easy to put on a rail and carves like a knife. The bottom contour and rails on this board are quite unique using a version of the tri plane hull bottom which gives it a smooth and forgiving feel. The rails are slight down rails and are foiled thin through the tail to help the rails and tail hold during powerful carves. With a low yet modern rocker, a smooth and full outline, and slight beaked nose to help distribute more foam forward and under your chest there is plenty of volume making this board able to catch waves with ease and have fun in most conditions.
